Autumn's most important gemstone gathering
Each September, the global trade turns toward Hong Kong for JGW — the year's principal materials fair, where buyers from brand houses, independent jewelers, and manufacturers gather to source loose diamonds, colored gemstones, and pearls. The gemstone halls at AsiaWorld-Expo are where much of the season's serious sourcing happens. 2026 also marks the show's fortieth edition, with the ruby chosen as its anniversary gemstone — fitting company for a house that has spent generations chasing true red. For Caram, the fair is a chance to do what we do best in person: place a remarkable stone in good light, and talk frankly about quality, origin, and the needs of a collection or a production run.
What we're presenting in the Fine Gem Pavilion
We're presenting a curated selection of rare colored gemstones — emeralds, sapphires, and rubies chosen over a season of careful looking. Alongside individual statement stones, we'll have matched parcels, matched pairs, and calibrated layouts suited to production, signature pieces, and bespoke commissions. Our focus, as always, is on character rather than catalog: stones with the color, clarity, and consistency that serious buyers can build on.
